"Dams can have both positive and negative effects when it comes to fish and fish management. The McCoy Dam between Bellefonte and Milesburg blocks the migration of fish in Spring Creek, and begs for removal. However, one local migration-blocking dam may actually be protecting an entire watershed and the organisms within it."
